Protecting your personal data is important to us. We therefore process your personal data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act, TKG 2021). In this privacy policy, we inform you about which data we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and which rights you have in this context.

If another party (e.g. booking system or tourism association) is the controller in individual cases, this will be indicated separately in the corresponding section.
Regarding your personal data processed by us, you generally have the following rights:
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, you can contact us at any time using the contact details above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
When you visit our website, the web server automatically stores certain information in so-called server log files. These include:
This processing is carried out for the purpose of technical provision, stability, security (e.g. defense against attacks), and error analysis of our website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. These data are not merged with other data sources.
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device. We currently only use cookies that are technically necessary to provide certain website functions (e.g. for content display or form functionality).
The storage of technically necessary cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in conjunction with § 165 TKG 2021 – our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and optimized provision of our online services.
Should we use optional or analytics/marketing cookies in the future, we will inform you separately and obtain your consent where required.
If you contact us via the contact or inquiry form on the website, by email, or by telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, travel dates, message) for the purpose of handling your request and preparing or carrying out a stay with us.
The legal basis is – depending on your inquiry – either Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). If you become our guest, certain data may be stored longer due to legal retention obligations (e.g. tax and duty regulations).
Our website includes an online booking module provided by feratel media technologies AG (Deskline/booking&more or successor systems). When using this booking module, the data required for booking are entered directly in the service provider’s form and processed there.
Depending on configuration, the controller for data collected via the booking system may be the responsible tourism association or destination. The relevant privacy provisions can be viewed directly in the booking module.
For the processing of your booking data for contractual purposes, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Without providing the required data, a binding booking is generally not possible.
Third-party content may be embedded on our website, such as maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) in the “Location & Arrival” section. When such content is displayed, it is technically necessary to transmit your IP address to the respective provider. These providers may also set their own cookies and process additional data (e.g. device information, usage data).
The use of these services is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online presence and easy findability of our house (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Further information on Google’s data processing can be found in Google’s privacy policy.
We currently do not use any web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo) on our website and we also do not send newsletters. Should we use such services in the future, we will update this privacy policy accordingly and obtain your consent where required.
We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law (e.g. statutory retention obligations under tax law).
Once the purpose has ceased or the legal retention period has expired, the data will be routinely deleted or anonymized.
