Arrival & stay

Arrival

Berghaus Maria is located in Pettneu am Arlberg (district Steinig) – just a few minutes by car from St. Anton. You can find a detailed description under Location & arrival.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in is usually possible from around 4:00 pm, check-out until 10:00 am. If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, please let us know – we will do our best to find a good solution.

Parking

Free parking is available directly at the house (subject to availability).

Breakfast

For room guests, the breakfast buffet is included in the price. Breakfast is served in the common room from 7:30 to 9:30 in the morning.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Ski bus & ski depot

In winter, the free ski bus (line 9) takes you to St. Anton am Arlberg in just a few minutes. The bus stop is about 100 m from our house. Your ski & boot depot is located directly at the cable cars – so you can start your ski day comfortably without having to carry your equipment.

Payment options

Payment is generally made in cash on site. We are happy to provide information on additional payment options upon request.

Cancellation policy

Unless otherwise agreed, the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Our ski depot in St. Anton is located at Sport Alber. There you can not only use your depot, but also rent ski equipment directly on site.

You can choose between two locations:

  • Nassereinbahn – convenient if you want to start at the beginning of St. Anton.
  • Galzigbahn – centrally located, ideal for the town center, après-ski, and shopping.

Both options work very well – you can decide based on your preferences.

When traveling from Berghaus Maria towards St. Anton, you will first arrive at the stop at the Nassereinbahn (usually referred to as East stop).

If you stay on the bus, the ski bus continues to the stop at the Galzigbahn (often West stop), which is closer to the town center.

In Pettneu:

In St. Anton (directly at the cable cars):

Most restaurants usually serve hot food until around 8:30 pm. Pizzeria La Luna is often open a bit longer (usually until around 9:30 pm).

In the peak seasons, a reservation is usually required.

  • Pizzeria La Luna (approx. 1000 m)

The ski bus (line 9) runs regularly towards St. Anton during the main season.

  • First ride: approx. 08:03 am
  • Interval: approx. every 15 minutes
  • Last return trip: approx. 05:55 pm
